PodBXL is a Brussels-based podcast festival and live media initiative created by The Podcast Factory Org ASBL-VZW-NPO.

The festival brings together podcasters, audiences and independent creators through live recordings, discussions and human-centered encounters beyond algorithms and competition.

Here, there is no selection and no jury: speaking slots are given based on order of arrival and responsiveness.

It opens the door to voices we rarely hear, even if it challenges some habits. No podium, no trophy.

We’re not in school anymore: the point is not to be “better than”, but to create a space where everyone can exist without comparing themselves.

And that matters, many podcasts stop there.

Here, stats are not the point. The focus is building community.

We prioritize native podcasts, audio fiction, and content, without putting them in competition with replays from major media outlets.

A festival that may be simple, but radical in what it stands for.

If you are not contacted within 48 hours, something abnormal has occurred.
